About Me

I am a 15 year old girl in the rising junior class at Visitation Academy of Saint Louis, Missouri. I’m class of 2027, placing me in the college class of 2031. Both academics and sports have always been a large part of my family and my life, which is why I’m choosing to major in Sports Media or Journalism. My passion for horses began when I was 8, and has developed into something I hope to take with me for the rest of my life. Being an equestrian has taught me so much, from patience and responsibility to time management and collaboration. Outside of riding, I enjoy traveling, keeping up with professional sports, and spending time with my family and my friends. I am a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.

Why Do I Want To Be On A Team?

I have been involved in team sports ever since I can remember. When I was younger, I did dance, soccer, golf, and volleyball. Being part of a team environment for so much of my life taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and showing up for something much bigger than myself. While riding is considered an individual sport, success still depends on your team—you and your horse. My relationship with my horses and others at my barn is very important to me. Teamwork means being there for each other through it all, and helping one another to reach the best outcome. Even on off days, you need to be there for everyone to lift them up, whether this is your friend or horse.
